Commercial Cold Store - Modern Milkman, Maidstone
Modern Milkman needed power and lighting for a large walk-in fridge at their new Maidstone hub, with a strict three-day deadline that could not move.
We supplied power to the internal and external condenser units and evaporators, and installed lighting rated for the low-temperature conditions inside the cold store. Every cable entry point through the fridge structure was properly resealed to protect the insulation and meet strict hygiene standards.
The installation was fully completed and handed over half a day ahead of the deadline.
HMO Fault Find & Partial Rewire - Rowe Properties
A routine EICR on an occupied HMO flagged a genuine fire risk hiding behind the inspection: high resistance on a power circuit traced to decaying aluminium cable, poor connections, and cables run too short at their terminations.
We partially rewired the upper floors with tenants still living in the property, retaining the safe existing cable on the lower floors to keep disruption and cost down. We simultaneously upgraded the consumer unit, adding surge protection and RCBOs to bring the board up to current 18th Edition standards.
A clear, satisfactory EICR was successfully issued on completion.
